Ukrainian War Relief & Updates

HOW CAN I HELP UKRAINE?

Donate to the
Ukrainian War Relief Fund

Thank-you for your concern for Ukraine and the Ukrainian People.

Our mission, BIEM has been working in the area of the former Soviet Union for 40 years. We began supporting national Ukrainian missionaries and Ukrainian churches ever since Ukraine became an independent country. This support has involved planting many churches, building numerous church buildings, sending 40 foot containers of humanitarian aid and work with orphans and needy children. Currently we support 18 Ukrainian families and 1 long time American Missionary who are serving in various parts of Ukraine with many in the area of Kyiv. We are also long time partners with the Brotherhood of Independent Baptist Churches which contains 120 churches spread throughout the 8 regions of Ukraine. You can find much information about our mission here

When Russian forces began surrounding Ukraine we put out an appeal for prayer.  Prayer is still urgently needed so please click on the “Pray for Ukraine” on our website to hear how to specifically pray for Ukraine. As soon as Russia attacked Ukraine many contacted us asking “other than prayer, is there anything else we can do?”

The cruel and horrific war that Russia has unleashed on Ukraine has created a tragic situation as innocent Ukrainians are being killed for no good reason other than the evil heart of Russian dictator, President Putin. It is apparent that there is a great need for humanitarian assistance that will likely continue for some time as most Ukrainians are losing their income while costs of available necessities has skyrocketed.  Please send your donation written to BIEM and designated for “Ukraine Relief”  to:

You may also donate online on our website. All donations are tax-deductible and every donation will receive a receipt.

This is an opportunity for Americans who have always been friendly with Ukraine to help by giving to this need. While Putin rains down death and destruction we can show love and support for Ukraine by helping alleviate their suffering.

On this page (See above) you can view some video war updates from some of our missionaries.  You will notice how grateful they are for the prayers of God’s people. These war updates will be updated as we hear from more of our Ukrainian pastors and friends and receive more information. This is a good way to get acquainted with Ukrainians directly who receive and distribute the aid that is sent.

Thank-you for your concern, for your prayers and for whatever you can do for Ukraine.

Sincerely In Christ’s name,

Sam Slobodian
President - BIEM
