BIEM's of Light: September 2007

Praises Rejoice with us!

v     Last month we requested prayer for one of our people traveling and establishing contacts in ***. That trip went well, and we thank you very much for your prayers. Future announcements will reveal what we can about this developing aspect of BIEM’s outreach.

v     Removed for security reasons.

v     Praise God for providing funding, both for BIEM’s current areas of ministry and for our areas of expansion. Only by God’s prompting individuals and churches to give can this ministry function.

v     We requested prayer for all the details concerning a month-long visit by two of our Ukrainian coworkers during August. We praise the Lord that these men (with interpreters) were able to visit many, many of our supporting churches, which enthusiastically received them.

Prayer Pray with us!

v     This month our long-awaited *** conference in *** is scheduled for the ***.  We can organize a conference, but we need God’s hand of blessing on it. BIEM is mailing a 5-minute DVD to the pastors on our mailing list. Please pray that these will be shown in prayer meetings and will mobilize God’s people to prayer. (If your church didn’t get one, please contact our office.)  (Some information deleted for security purposes.)

v     Special prayer is needed for a Ukrainian church planting couple who are discouraged. They have recently endured sickness and some other disappointments. Please lift them up in prayer!

v     Please pray for direction as we seek suitable locations in which to base both our *** and *** outreach. This month Rick Barry, Bob McQueary, and others will be investigating some possibilities in ***.  (Some information deleted for security purposes.)

v     Pray for a couple currently on a survey trip in *** as they seek contacts and God’s direction for ministry opportunities. (Some information deleted for security purposes.)

v     On August 25, volunteers and ministry staff loaded yet another container of supplies for shipment to Ukraine, including a 15-passenger used van for BIEM’s ministry in Ukraine. We praise God for each item provided, and also for His blessing in enabling us to overcome some recent changes in shipping regulations.
