Rejoice with us!
v
The container that BIEM shipped to Ukraine in June has arrived
safely. We praise God for safe passage of all these materials! In
response to the new tires we sent earlier for ministry workers, Lilia
Andrushko writes, “We thank God and you for your wonderful gift. We
would not be able to buy such tires by ourselves; there would be no
chance.”
v
Dmitry Gusev, the director of the Rehabilitation Center in Rumyantsevo,
Russia, joyfully reports that five men saved through that ministry
recently followed the Lord in believers’ baptism. Another man, Volodya
from Ulyanovsk, has just now come to Christ. Praise God for a ministry
that frees men from the shackles of addictions and points them to Jesus!
v
BIEM’s director for Ukraine, Eugene Buyko, says, “Just recently in
Zoria, where Tatiana Aleksandrovna has already been laboring for eight
years, there has been a spiritual awakening. We labored and waited, not
seeing anything, and then after years we have results. The children with
great joy wait for her coming. Local residents are visiting services.”
v
In June, Nikolai Glavnik wrote that they dream of acquiring some
computers for the seminary in Kyiv, Ukraine. Likewise, the Homeless
Children’s Center was hoping for several used computers. Praise God, we
just now received a donation of 30 good, used computers! These will
eventually go overseas in our next container.

Pray with us!
v
Vitaly Bilyak and his wife are in the first stages of planting a new
church in Ternopyl, Ukraine. They are beginning to see some fruit from
their witnessing, but would certainly appreciate prayer as they continue
sowing the Word of God in people’s hearts.
v
Marius Simionas is excited that two more men in Moldova have recently
been ordained for missionary ministry. However, Marius himself has been
diagnosed with a rare blood disorder called polycythemia vera.
This is a thickening of the blood that can lead to blood clots, strokes
or heart attacks. Let’s hold him up in prayer!
v
Although the Lord blessed the new camp in Farcasa, Romania, Fred Canaday
reports opposition from a local priest: “He called us the Anti-Christ
and told his congregation that anyone from the community who helped us
was helping the Anti-Christ. We noticed a distinct cooling from the
village people for a few days after that.” Pray that the Holy Spirit
would free the people of Farcasa from spiritual blindness.
v
Charles Hoblitz traveled from St. Petersburg, Russia, to the country of
Georgia (situated between Russia and Turkey) on a survey trip. He was
greatly moved by the widespread poverty and the small number of
churches. He is considering how best to help the believers, and whether
he should relocate there. Please pray for the Holy Spirit to guide the
Hoblitzes.
