v     Praise God for once again expanding BIEM. At a recent Board meeting, the decision was made to expand into Belarus, where we will be supporting 2 church planters who are closely connected with some of key pastors we work with in both Russia and Ukraine. 

v     On November 1, over 50 volunteers from four churches gathered at BIEM to help us stuff, seal, and address our 2008 BIEM Calendar. Not only did they finish this huge job in record time, but they also enjoyed wonderful fellowship and Christian unity as they worked! 

Prayer – Pray with us!

v     The church in Lutsk, Ukraine, has a ministry to children that no one else wants. For example, Natasha M. is now 17. When she was 13 her mother sold her to an unknown man for a bottle of Vodka. During the 3 years that Natasha was used and abused, she tried to commit suicide. Then somebody led her to Resurrection Baptist Church. Please pray for her and others that the church is helping.

v     Please pray for the secular authorities governing Ukraine. Recent government elections give pro-democracy forces an opportunity to make improvements in their country. Unfortunately the various competing factions involved don’t have a track record of working together for the common good.  

v     Several BIEM missionaries need additional, regular support. Please pray for the Lord to provide committed supporters for Bob McQueary, David Cateam, Rick Barry, and Tim & Luda Smith.
