of Light: July 2007 Praises – Rejoice with us! v We at BIEM are glad to welcome Dr. Bob & Gayle McQueary to our team of missionaries. Brother McQueary will be serving as our regional director for Western Asia. Please pray for the McQuearys to be able to raise their support quickly. v In Desna, Ukraine, the local church received permission to hold an outdoor Christian concert in front of the Officers’ Community Center of the military base. Tracts were distributed, and unsaved people gathered to listen. Some came to church the next day. We praise God for each evangelistic endeavor! v In Ternopil, Ukraine, the Bilyaks continue to thank God for chances to meet people and to witness. They had earlier asked us to pray for another Christian couple to come and help in their new church—and God answered! A couple named Igor and Luda moved there and assist them regularly. v Charles and Nina Hoblitz are now in the country of Georgia, where they are enjoying an enthusiastic reception. In a mountain village called Jvari, four or five men approached them after a Christian film showing and asked if they would start a church and a Bible school in their area! Prayer – Pray with us! v In July and August BIEM workers will be involved in various children’s and teen camps from St. Petersburg, Russia, in the north down to the Republic of Georgia near Turkey. Please pray that unsaved hearts will open to Christ and that believing kids will grow in their walk with the Lord. v For August BIEM is planning to bring our Ukrainian Director Eugene Buyko and Vitaly Yurchenko to the U.S. to visit some churches and bring firsthand reports of what God is doing in their country. Please pray that all details for these plans will work out to the glory and honor of God. v Amidst the activity of church building programs, etc., we never want to forget the even more important goal: leading souls to the Savior. All of our workers regularly ask prayer for spiritual fruit for their labors. Please join us in praying for a spiritual harvest. v Removed for security purposes |
