Rejoice with us!
v A very active church in
Kazan, Russia, weekly sends its evangelism team to surrounding towns and
villages. However, their vehicle kept breaking down. This past month the
Lord enabled BIEM to deliver funds for them to purchase a newer
vehicle!
v
In conjunction with BIEM’s anniversary, we purchased
thousands of Russian New Testaments for churches to use in their
evangelistic outreaches. The recent arrival of photos from cities in
Ukraine show church members using these Scriptures at bus stops, etc.,
as they freely share God’s Word.
v
We are presently involved in two church roofing projects.
One is in Duralesti, Romania, and the other is in Mediesu Aurit,
Romania. Praise God that we were able to respond to these needs!
v
Soon the Turkmen-language New Testament will be recorded
by a native from Turkmenistan with an excellent reading voice. These
tapes will be used in a variety of ways, including radio broadcasting.
Praise God for yet another method of spreading His Word in Central
Asia!
v
In Ternopil, Ukraine, Vitaly Bilyak was warned by a number
of people that his plan to rent an auditorium for a special evangelistic
program would not result in a good turnout. But God overruled and filled
that auditorium with listeners! Praise God for men with vision to
attempt great things.
Prayer

Pray with us!
v
Members of two Ukrainian churches are making good strides
in major rebuilding programs. In both Chervona Sloboda and Desna, the
believers hope to be meeting in their new buildings by New Year’s even
though much work will remain. They would appreciate prayer for good
progress and safety.
v
Tim and Luda Smith must decide exactly where to base
themselves as they transition to their new ministry to Turkmen people.
Pray God will lead them to a strategic location.
v
From Bila Tserkva, Ukraine, Bruce Tuttle reports that a
new church has been started in Stanislavchek. This town had no church
but did have some believers. The mayor has even made available a room
for the fledgling church to meet in! Pray for this young church and for
Valentin, the young preacher spearheading this effort.
v
Nathan, a Turkmen believer, will soon be visiting a
Turkmen tribe in Uzbekistan. A number of people there have trusted
Christ, and Nathan hopes to organize them into a church.
v
Please pray for Ann, a co-worker experiencing some
troubling heath issues. She takes tests soon.
