Children's Youth Conference in Kiev, Ukraine
Children from all over Ukraine recently packed out the large Temple of Salvation Baptist Church in Kiev, Ukraine, for a “Children’s Festival.” This was a unique time of fellowship and evangelism in which children received Bible instruction on their level, gained new Christian friends, and—in some cases—gained a new Heavenly Father! A group of orphans and kids from needy homes in Western Ukraine were able to attend thanks to sponsorship from BIEM.

Listen kids, what is good and what is wrong – these words started first children festival in Kiev, Pukhova street, Temple of Salvation Church. This festival we visit with orphans and half orphans which are in trusteeship of Lutsk Resurrection Church. As we went into a building we felt like we are in heaven, blue and white clouds surrounded us, and different size doves were under these clouds. When choir sang Holy Spirit filled our hearts. Kids faces were shine, their eyes showed happiness. Such a great and pleasant time our kids spent in festival named “Towards to Children”. They found many friends from different sites of Ukraine. It was blessed meeting where God gathered many children, different age and liking. But they unity was in meeting with true Friend who never leaves in trouble, in problems, but He always comes to help, and protect with His invisible hands and the main thing He gives salvation.
Ivan Bekeruk’s Mother recently died and he stay with his sister and invalid brother and their father is an alcoholic. When he knew that he will be able to be in Kiev he was so glad that his dream comes true. The boy was crying after everything he heard and saw. Everyone were behind him, it was atmosphere of love and friendship. Ivan was praying to Jesus as to a friend and Savior. Dear brother Sam Slobodian and all coworkers of BIEM mission thank you for such an ability to be in such children’s meeting. Also we thank Zhenya Buyko for understanding and support, because one prayer of Ivan and other four kids from Lutsk is a great joy in heaven. We are God’s coworkers and we thank you for funds which help our kids to be on this children’s festival. Let God bless all your plans and ministries for salvation of new souls, for widening of God’s kingdom here on the Earth and in eternity.
